(Live Band inside the Ballroom)
The 38th Annual Dallas Margarita Ball took place November 22nd 2014 at the Sheraton Hotel downtown. Even after being stuck for almost 30 minutes on exit 284c (2 miles away from my final destination) and being hit by an impatient truck driver, I still had a great time at my first Dallas Margarita Ball. The live bands were great and had everyone dancing on and off the dance floor. I was personally fascinated by the aerialists inside the ballroom, their athleticism and grace, while literally hanging from the ceiling, added so much class to the event. My only recommendations for next year are to place a visible coat check as well as organize the chaos better when the crowd is trying to secure margaritas.
I wore a vintage sequin and beaded dress by dear friend Style Marqui. She is your go-to-girl for unique vintage pieces!

Of course everyone looked gorgeous, but I would like to draw attention to the main purpose of this event and the Dallas Margarita Society.
The Dallas Margarita Society, Inc., (d.b.a. Dallas Children’s Charities) was formed in 1977 when a small group of business acquaintances decided to host a holiday party for associates and friends.
The Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization whose goals are twofold. The first is to provide at-risk Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex children with gifts at Christmas time and the second is to help those community organizations that work with at-risk children throughout the year (Dallas Margarita Society).
Overall I enjoyed myself and was pleased to see a diverse crowd unite for a great cause!
