A few months ago I was approached by my dear friend Rhonda Sargent Chambers and her lovely production right hand Carlotta Lennox if one of my clients (Esé Azénabor) wasn’t interested in participating in a unique Halloween themed fashion show. I was ready to jump on board when I learned about the event but I was truly moved by the message and reason behind this extravagant Halloween Party.
Friscovania is dedicated to the fashion and beauty industry’s dear friend and make-up artist Kelly Whaley who was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer a few months ago. It took her life in only two short months. Kelly left behind a beautiful 4 year old little boy named Gunner. Kelly’s Favorite holiday was Halloween. She loved particularly doing Halloween make-up. 19 individuals of the fashion and beauty industry among them Rhonda Sargent Chambers of RSC Show Productions, Carlotta Lennox, L.B. Rosser, and Toni Muñoz-Hunt just name a few, wanted to make sure her greatest pride and joy her son would be taken care of with his educational cost for the future.

With the city of Frisco growing at an amazing rate, the team discussed the idea with Mr. Maso, the Mayor of Frisco who shortly after was on board with the concept of the event. Friscovania will also represent a safe Trick-Or-Treat zone for children and families in Frisco, TX as well as help raise funds and awareness of City House. Immediately the name Friscovania was born from the combination of Frisco and Halloween.

Guests and their families can expect an afternoon and evening of Halloween fun. There will be food, drinks, fun games, face painting, live music, performances, costume contest, a haunted fashion show and much, much more…
