Texas girl reporting live from Winter. I’m miserable in these thirty and forty-degree days so I cannot imagine what it must be like up North! I’m a lover of the sun, so when I see it out and still step out to icicles… it’s a problem! Regardless, I have to work and leave the hibernating for the animals of the world, so when Vuliwear reached out and let me take their fly shades for a spin it was just the motivation I needed to step outside.
Winter can be so drab. It gets dark super early and sometimes it’s even dark during the day! I don’t know about you, but I go into total ice queen mode and the perfect accessory for my bougie tendencies are sunglasses. They give you a sort of mysterious aesthetic that simultaneously makes you look like the most important person on the street. I’ve seen some forums recently where people are asking whether it’s okay to wear shades in the Winter and I was a bit surprised that not everybody takes advantage of the glamorous glimmer the sun shows in the Winter months. So! Since my Vuliwear glasses have a classic aviator style with a unique twist, I thought I’d do some browsing and share some inspo for y’all on the best looks to pair with sunglasses this Winter.

I love the trend of the orange camo pants these days and of course, Rih did it better than the rest. Pair this grungy, bulky look with your hater blockers and you can’t be stopped. Some things I like about the Vuliwear sunglasses is that they have earthy tones, playful designs that reflect an insect’s eye and are also super lightweight despite the illusion of the aviator style, so it’s easy to be versatile with them. Most of the other looks are some form or fashion of a French, Chic twist. You’ve got to love a fitted outfit with some standout shades to add some demeanor, talk about classic. I’m thinking Sandy from Grease, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Pretty Woman all in one. Last but not least, my men. You’ve got one look and one look only. Totally kidding, but I am only giving you one source of inspo because how do you not want to resemble Future on the cover of Oyster Magazine? He’s sporting some BlknBlu Vuliwear sunglasses with a dramatic metallic puffer coat. Can you say look at me and stay away at the same d*** time?!
Enjoy the sun when it comes y’all!
XOXO,
